Ivan Plavšić

“With so much information available online, it’s rare to find someone who can distill the essentials and present them in a clear, practical, and digestible way. What I value most about Ian is his professionalism and expertise, which shine through in the high-quality knowledge and exercises he shares during the mentorship. For anyone who truly wants to stand out in the field of rehabilitation and deliver a service of exceptional quality, I wholeheartedly recommend this program.”

Purpose of the Program

The mentorship program is designed to provide professional support, develop competencies, and foster personal growth for coaches and therapists. The goal of the program is to enhance professional practice, encourage reflection, and expand knowledge through the mentorship relationship.

This program is not a training for obtaining a license, a formal supervision process in the therapeutic sense, or psychotherapy. The mentor does not assume responsibility for the work that the mentee carries out with their clients, patients, or groups.

Nature of the Relationship

  • The mentorship relationship is based on trust, respect, and professional ethics.

  • The mentor offers experience, feedback, and support; however, decision-making and responsibility for professional work remain with the mentee.

  • The mentorship relationship does not establish a therapeutic relationship between the mentor and the mentee.

  • The mentor does not teach or represent other people’s models or principles. If mentees have questions regarding a specific methodology or system, they are encouraged to seek information directly from the original source.

Confidentiality

  • All information shared by the mentee within the program will be treated as confidential.

  • The mentor may share content only within agreed safe boundaries, and solely for the purpose of professional support.

  • Confidentiality may be broken in cases where there is a legal obligation to report (e.g., risk of harm to life, abuse, criminal activity).

Responsibilities of the Mentee

  • Actively participate in the program, remain open to feedback, and engage in self-reflection.

  • Maintain professional responsibility toward their own clients/patients.

  • Acknowledge that mentorship is not a substitute for formal supervision, psychotherapy, or other professional treatment.

Responsibilities of the Mentor

  • Uphold ethical standards of the profession.

  • Maintain confidentiality and provide a safe space for growth and learning.

  • Offer professional support within the limits of their competence.

Risks and Limitations

  • The mentorship program does not guarantee specific outcomes.

  • Mentor feedback is intended for development purposes; the mentee remains solely responsible for decisions in their practice.

  • The program is not intended to resolve the mentee’s personal issues in a therapeutic sense, though personal examples may be used to deepen understanding of principles.

  • The mentor’s guidance reflects their own knowledge and experience, not the representation of other frameworks, models, or authors.
